Frequently Asked Questions

While your child is sitting an exam, StudyBuddy is never given the correct answer or mark scheme, so there's nothing for it to let slip even if asked directly – it only discusses the single question on screen, though it can see a summary of their accuracy on other topics to tailor a hint. After an exam is marked, StudyBuddy's Review Wizard explains any wrong answers directly, since the exam is already scored by then. It's off by default – you turn it on, exam by exam, and Profile Settings has a separate switch for in-exam hints and for the Review Wizard chat, so you can turn either off, or both, at any time.

Our practice covers the Key Stage 2 English and Maths skills that 11+ tests assess. Formats differ between areas and test providers, so we focus on the underlying skills rather than copying any one test.

The platform analyses your child's exam performance, identifies their weak areas, and recommends specific questions and topics for focused practice – so each exam adapts to where they need the most help.
